Hello, Shé:kon.  I would like to share with you a little about myself.  I am a Certified End of Life Doula.  My life and Career has been diverse.  I am also a Child and Youth Counsellor whose home was deemed specialized and fostered for approximately 15 years for Native Social Services Brant raising three foster sons to adulthood and shared my life with several other special children for a time as well.  I am an indigenous woman.  I connect to all my brothers and sisters of all different cultures and understand the importance of each person's uniqueness.  I have had the privilege of sitting vigil with indigenous people of our communities and when the spirit passes over to the ancestors.  I understand the importance of being able to practice, our and other cultural tranditions, and the application of a "world view" towards end of life care. I have been humbled to share the final moments of life and the the crossing over with both Family and Patients and come to you with both professional and personal life experience to share both in overcoming loss and the grieving process.....Welcome.
